Late 2018, Women in Energy began hosting Webinar Wednesdays.  Each webinar begins at 12:15 pm and lasts for 30-45 minutes.  So grab your lunch, join fellow members and tune into one of our webinars.  All our webinars are presented by our Corporate and Individual members and other industry experts.

About This Presentation:

This webinar will provide you with a better understanding of Communication Systems so employees can work more harmoniously.

  • Communication among Team Members:  Understanding the impact and importance of effective communication methods for harmonious collaboration and conveying ideas among peers, including active listening and impactful messaging and relationship building.
  • Communication How-To:  Streamline your communications with conciseness and to-the-point messaging for both small groups and 1:1 settings.
  • Meeting Preparation:  Using the skill set of prepared and impromptu conversations for job interviews and salary negotiations, presenting your ideas effectively in a group and with direct leadership to share your “why” you should be hired, promoted, or have your idea implemented.

About the Presenter:

Jackee Hawkins, is a Systems Consultant, Intacct for Cargas.  She is the President of Conestoga Toastmasters.  She has a passion for working with people and making an impact on community.  She believe Toastmasters has taught her how to blend public speaking and leadership development into all aspects of her life.
