Time Management
Mar 27 @ 12:15 pm – 1:00 pm

You might wonder why this webinar is so detailed, the reason . . . Sandy Lamb, Focal Point Coaching, so kindly reached out to us about a future speaking engagement.  I invited her to do a webinar for our group so that we could see and hear her talent firsthand.  Thank you Sandy!  To register for this webinar, click here.

About her presentation

24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week and once it’s gone, you can’t get it back.  You aren’t going to FIND the time to pursue your goals, you are going to MAKE the time to pursue them.  Instead of asking yourself do you have enough time, ask how are you spending the time that you have?  Time management is really life management, management of yourself.  It is the ability to determine the sequence of events > what you do first, what you do second, and what you don’t do at all.  Please join me as I take you through an abbreviated version of my Eat that Frog! Workshop based on the Brian Tracy book by the same name. I will teach you tips and techniques to increase your productivity and get more done in less time!

About Sandy

Sandy has a passion for helping business leaders and owners and is known for challenging the status quo to get the best out of your greatest asset, people.  Aspiring female leaders, in male dominated industries, work with her to embrace their authentic divine femininity and feel confident leading like a “Boss Lady”. Business coaching is the perfect opportunity for her to give back the expertise and operational insights she learned in corporate America while affording her the opportunity to spend more time blending family and wellness into her life.

In the Corporate World

Sandy had a long career, spanning 27 years with Bechtel Corporation in several business lines, across numerous functions including Cost and Schedule Management, Marketing and Strategy, Contract Management, Acquisitions, Program and Project Management.  She was fortunate to travel with her family throughout the U.S. assigned to many signature projects:  including Homeland Security Technology Program at Nevada Test Site training first responders, an Extended Power Uprate project at St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant in Florida, and most recently, destroying chemical weapons at Army Pueblo Chemical Depot in Colorado for the Department of Defense.

Technical Training for Non-Technical People
Dec 18 @ 12:15 pm – 1:00 pm

In our 2019 survey, our members asked that we offer a webinar that explained the heating equipment to non-technical personnel.  John Levey  will be doing just that.  Often you hear the words and terms but you don’t know what they mean in relationship to your job.  The intent of this webinar is to give you a little insight into what some of these terms mean:

  • A little about Fuel Oil
  • Low Sulfur
  • Bio
  • What is a degree day?
  • K-factors
  • Why do automatic customers run out of fuel?
  • Is service needed?

Part II that will be presented later will go over the types of heating equipment and more about tanks.
