How to Foster an Environment of Retention at your Company
Feb 1 @ 12:15 pm – 1:00 pm

Presented by Gerry Brien, Senior Vice President of Consumer Focus Marketing with special Guest Marty Kirshner, Partner and Chair of Energy Practice at Gray, Gray & Gray and Gray

Younger generations of employees don’t stay in job roles as long as their retiring counterparts did. This is a challenge with which the energy industry in particular is struggling. Fortunately, we have a solution.

In this presentation, you’ll learn how employers can solve the pressing issue of a flighty workforce. Tactics such as focus groups allow your CSRs, drivers, technicians, and other staff to share what is and isn’t working within your company. Working with your employees shows that you truly care about fostering an environment of retention at your company by listening to the feedback your team has for you.

Listening to your employees also helps your company grow. Happy, listened-to employees refer others to their workplace, speak highly of you as an employer, and stay in their roles without looking elsewhere for work. In addition, it’s cost effective to retain your existing workforce; the Employee Benefits Network reports that it can cost as much as 33% of an employee’s annual salary to replace them.

Marty Kirshner of Gray, Gray & Gray will be joining the webinar to share creative ideas on how to retain your employees and how to make your company a magnet for future career seekers.

Your existing employees are your most valuable asset and the most crucial element of your company’s longevity—attend this webinar to learn specific strategies on how to keep them around.

Speaking with one Voice
Jan 10 @ 12:15 pm – 1:00 pm

Speaking with One Voice . . .  a Panel Discussion.

This idea came about after a panel discussion was hosted at our annual conference.  The dialog was dynamic and audience participation terrific.

Many energy companies are under pressure.  The good news is that each of the sources of energy have a good story to tell.  How do you get that message out to policy makers, existing customers, and the general public?  It starts from within your four walls.  All of your team members should speak with the same voice.  All of your marketing materials need to be clear and concise.

Our panelists:

Nicky Kollie, ICPA Association – Importance of belonging to an Association and attending meetings.

Jen LeClerc, Consumer Focus – Review of your marketing materials

Jamie Densmore, Densmore Oil – Sharing the Owners Perspective
