Women in Energy hosted a sold-out “Lunch & Learn” at the Hershey Country Club in Hershey, Pa.
The event included lunch, networking, and a program called Women in Energy: Leading and Succeeding. Judy Garber, past executive director of the National Association of Oil & Energy Service Professionals, moderated a panel discussion. Panelists included: Aubrey Bauman Kreider (marketing manager and sustainability lead, AMERIgreen), Jennifer Goldbach (business development director, Rhoads Energy), and Erin Holohan Haskell (president, HeatingHelp.com).
Attendees at the Sept. 26 event shared perspectives from various areas of the industry. The discussion focused on leadership, overcoming gender-related roadblocks, career strategies, work/life balance, and how to encourage future generations to join the energy industry.
The goal of the group is to energize and connect women in the energy industry. The organization provides opportunities to meet and network with accomplished women who work in the energy industry and elsewhere.
“There was much enthusiasm surrounding this event and tickets sold quickly,” said Garber. “We look forward to hosting future events that will enrich and empower women in our industry.”
