About this Presentation

Stop being honest with your customers. It’s hurting your business. What I mean by this is– stop telling customers what you can’t do. They don’t care. They don’t care if you don’t give pricing over the phone. They don’t care if you don’t have availability today. They don’t care what your policies are. Even if all of that is true, they often misunderstand and misinterpret what you are really trying to say. What they care about is how you provide them with some kind of solution. It’s time to learn how to be really honest with your customers in a positive way. Knowing and practicing how to shift your responses will not only provide your customers with the WOW experience they are looking for, it will also instill confidence and belief in your employees to find proactive solutions for every problem that may arise. These 10 top things to never say, along with the tools on what you should say, is a vital step in transforming the growth of your employees, culture, and all around business.

About the Presentation:

Industries like retail propane and oil are seeing a dynamic shift in leadership style. We are are seeing a phenomenon taking place due to the rapid pace of change taking place around us. This is causing an increased demand in leaders to be authentic, transparent and a willingness to investment in their people. This change is not only in demand for future leaders at the branch and organizational level. Current leaders who have historically led in their own “yester-year” style are also being forced to make change. At the root of this shift is emotional intelligence, which can be uncomfortable for some. Join this one-hour session to learn how to:

  • Be You, Not Your Predecessor
  • Be Vulnerable and Ask for Feedback
  • Be Willing to Invest in Change and Your People

The phenomenon of leadership change we are seeing provides an opportunity for leaders to be more authentic and respected. Leave this session with a renewed energy and tools to be seen as a leader who others naturally want to follow – and thus, creating a powerful partnership and value proposition in your branch or company.

Saving money can be tough enough but when you commit to shoring up your financial future, where do you start?  We polled some of our members and got variety of questions and comments.  In this round table discussion, we will explore:

  • My main focus is on investing for retirement.
  • Looking at my personal Roth IRA, I think I’m getting killed with fees. What’s fair? What should I expect?
  • Terms that I should be familiar with.
  • Understanding where “my money” is so that I am not surprised
  • What does a well balanced portfolio look like?
  • Top biggest mistakes investors make
  • Where are some resources a person can go to for investing questions?
  • In additional 401Ks, what other saving vehicles might I explore especially for emergencies or planning for my child’s education.
